Principle
We process personal data in good faith, proportionately and solely for the purposes set out in this policy. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes.
No tracking
This website uses no analytics tools and embeds no tracking pixels. No profiles of your browsing behaviour are created and no data is transmitted to advertising networks. No maps are embedded, and fonts are served from our own server. We use strictly necessary storage only: a cookie recording your chosen language, and an entry in your browser's local storage for your chosen appearance (light or dark). Neither contains personal data and neither is analysed.
Server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (IP address, time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system). This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, the details you entered (name, company, email address, telephone number, topic and message) are transmitted to our server and delivered to us from there by email. The providers involved are named in the Processors section. To guard against automated submissions, the IP address of the request is checked briefly in memory; it is not stored permanently. We use your details solely to handle your enquiry.
Processors
Two service providers are involved in running this website, and each processes personal data solely on our instructions: Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts the website and operates the endpoint the contact form submits to. This covers the server log data and the content of your enquiry. Resend (USA) delivers the contact form message to our mailbox as an email. In both cases personal data may be transferred to the United States. We base that transfer on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, in the version recognised for Switzerland by the FDPIC.
Contact by email
When you contact us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry and to handle any resulting engagement. We retain this data for as long as required for that purpose or by statutory retention obligations.
Data security
This website is transmitted encrypted via TLS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law you have the right to information about the personal data we process, as well as to its correction, deletion or release. Please address your request to info@b-scale.ch. We may request additional details in order to verify your identity.
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website at the given time applies.
